At Freedomwheels our Mission is to provide specialist and safe transport for elderly people and those with severe mobility problems using a fleet of fully accessible vehicles at affordable fares. We are a caring and welfare charity founded in 1981 consisting of volunteers. For our passengers and their carers transport is the key to freedom and autonomy, and there is the added assurance of the safety and security of a door to door service.
- Freedomwheels is a registered charity run by volunteers and have been providing specialist transport for elderly and disabled people in Devon since 1981
- We operate a growing fleet of specialist accessible vehicles providing door to door transport for the users of all types of wheelchairs and walkers
- All Freedomwheels drivers are volunteers, who are vetted, good mannered and considerate. They will collect you from your home and make sure that you and your wheelchair are secure in the vehicle. They will deliver you to your destination and back
- Freedomwheels offers a door to door service available 7 days a week
- We cover destinations in and around Exeter and further afield

We Rely on Volunteers
We can only provide low cost specialist transport because of the generosity of our volunteer drivers and support staff, who happily give their time free of charge to help the disabled. We depend entirely on our volunteers to keep the service going
